Praying for the Nation of Malawi

A lot has happened since we had our 1st Global Day of Repentance events for Malawi and the Youth in 2020. God has moved through the country in miraculous ways, and Repentance has been preached in every District of Malawi already, all lead by Rev Edward Mikwamba and his team of National Repentance Malawi.

The OUT-youth Repentance Training was started by Bishop Joseph Kazembe towards the end of 2020, and he has been taking it to every district within Malawi, teaching and preaching Repentance to the youth almost every 2nd weekend, for over a year now, and we have seen so many young lives changed. The training groups have increased in numbers with every meeting, even a number of Moslem youths have come to Christ recently.

They are now planning an OUT Youth Gathering of all the OUT youths across Malawi to come together in Salima on the 18th of December and is expecting at least 250+ young people that will be coming together on the day…

And last week, on Sunday November 28th, we had a great response across Malawi when Rev Edward Mikwamba called for a National Day of Repentance for Malawi through the media. Many of the renowned people in Malawi have responded that this is very much needed within Malawi, and people joined and prayed across Malawi within their churches, at their homes and in groups, and a number of Pastors and their congregation members from different denominations have joined Rev Edward and his team on Sunday at Chiradzulu to Pray and Repent for themselves, and on behalf of Malawi.

Here is a video – giving a summary of the day’s events, from a news Reporter’s viewpoint...

You can also visit the National Repentance Malawi website (https://www.nationalrepentancemalawi.org) for all the Information, Feedback, Testimonies in photos and videos etc from last week’s event, as well as the OUT Youth and various other Repentance meetings and events over the past 2 years…

And thus, having this great response on the call a National Day of Repentance for Malawi, and the response we’ve received for prayer on Repenting on Witchcraft for Malawi, Tanzania & Kenya on October 15th, we’ve felt we needed to make this now a Global Day of Repentance event on December 17th, inviting you, our prayer partners to join us again, in Praying, Interceding, and to continue in Repentance and Thanksgiving to God for Malawi..!!  And asking God, that the Gift and the Message of Repentance will continue to spread into Africa, beyond the Borders of Malawi, into the rest of Africa, and especially into all the Moslem countries like Afghanistan, Liberia, Yemen & Saudi Arabia, that God will bring do a miracle in those nations, and that people will convert to Christ in large numbers… If God can do it in Malawi, He can do it in any country..!!

Therefore, We are also planning a 3-hour Zoom call on December 17th @ 16:00 Central Africa Time (which is 6am Pacific time, or 9am Eastern Time)

Please contact Ps Jeff Daly for all the Zoom details.

The Zoom call will also be live streamed to Facebook, on the National Day of Repentance, Global Day of Repentance and National Repentance Malawi FB Pages.

During this Zoom call on December 17th, we will be praying and REPENTING in particular for:

·      Witchcraft

·      Sexual perversions [including in church and government, as well as Abortions, and killing of innocents etc..]

·      Spirit of fear/ fear of man instead of God [ including: virus/ economy, etc ]

Other Prayer Points to be considered for Malawi are:

·      Pray for Peace and Unity in Malawi, and into the Rest of Africa

·      Pray against covid19, that this virus will die and leave Malawi and the Rest of Africa, and for everyone that has been affected by it will be healed and restored to new life and strength

·      Pray for Finances to continue to spread the message of Repentance past the Borders of Malawi into the Rest of Africa

For Repentance is the 1st Step towards receiving God’s Righteousness, let’s be encouraged by the following Scripture in 2 Cor 3, and let’s unite in the Gift of Repentance, and ask God to bring a Turning Point in Malawi, which will cause a ripple effect into the rest of Africa and beyond…:

2Cor 3:8-9 NKJ:

How will the ministry of the Spirit not be more glorious?

For if the ministry of condemnation had glory, the ministry of righteousness exceeds much more in glory…
